Welcome to the homepage of the master´s degree program „Chemistry of Materials”

For implementing innovative approaches and concepts from molecules to materials and their applications materials chemistry plays an increasingly important role across the field of natural sciences.

The new master's degree program „Chemistry of Materials“ offers students intensive training on the interface between chemistry, physics and materials science. Students broaden and improve their knowledge in the theories, methodologies, and systematics in chemistry, physics, and materials sciences. They acquire the necessary experimental and theoretical competencies required for scientific work in chemistry of materials, and they undergo special training in selected areas of microscopy, spectroscopy, multi-scale simulation, and computer-assisted materials sciences.
